PASTOR RYAN

PASTOR RYAN ROBERTS

LEAD PASTOR

Ryan is the Lead Pastor at The Edge. Ryan has been called a "young revivalist", with a great passion for discipleship, sound doctrine and helping people discover their God given potential. He is fueled to help raise up Christians, knowing the fullness of God and their God-given potential. His messages are often humorous but drive home both spiritual and practical points straight from the word of God.

Ryan is a Gainesville native, he came to The Edge Church in 2019 as a Youth Pastor and he became the Lead Pastor on June 5th, 2022, after 3 months as an interim pastor. Ryan was spiritually raised and ordained under Pastors Todd Smith & Marty Darracott, where he helped serve and witnessed the first two years of the North Georgia Revival. He started in ministry in 2012, preaching to both youth and adult congregations, leading retreats, discipleship ministries and more. He has written discipleship curriculum, worked in both the local & foreign mission field, and is currently writing his first book. He has hosted a Christian podcast, and various other media ministry projects.

Ryan received his bachelor's at UNG, three different Diplomas in the field of Biblical Theology from KINEO MTC and is set to graduate with his master's in Christian ministry in 2026 from Oral Roberts University. Ryan is a member of the Kingdom Ready Revival Network of Pastors and Ministry Leaders, seeking revival throughout the world.

In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, and good coffee!

PASTOR WANDA

PASTOR WANDA ATKINS

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Pastor Wanda serves The Edge as our Associate Pastor. She has well over 30 years of ministerial experience, including: senior pastor, emergency food relief, homeless ministry, pastoral counseling, outreach ministry and much more. Pastor Wanda has a huge heart for those who are grieving and struggling. Pastor Wanda has helped to train and inspire dozens of "spiritual kids", who affectionately call her "Pastor Momma". She walks strongly in the prophetic and encouraging gifts.

She attended THE ROCK Healing School in Gainesville, received a Diploma of Biblical Theology and a Diploma of Advanced Bible Studies form KINEO MTC in Dawsonville. She is trained in grief counseling, deliverance ministry as well as emergency food relief safety protocol.

In her spare time, she enjoys her longtime love for floral crafts, painting and decorating. She has 4 adult children, many spiritual children and a dog, Shiloh.

CARE & RECOVERY PASTOR

Tonya is our Recovery & Care Pastor at The Edge Church. She helps to connect and offer a compassionate ear. She also walks strongly in prayer ministry. Pastor Tonya oversees our recovery ministries and Overcomers Outreach. Tonya has a heart to serve, and her greatest delight is reaching the broken through the word of God.

Prior to coming home to The Edge Church, she was a Youth Pastor for a little over 10 years, as well as worked in other leadership capacities. She has worked in several ministries over the years and has been recognized for her work in the community by the International Association of Insurance Professionals.

Tonya has 3 boys and a God-daughter. One of her greatest joys in life is raising her boys up in the way of the Father. That is where true ministry begins. Tonya earned her Diploma of Biblical Theology form KINEO MTC.

PASTOR JENNY
PAITSEL

WORSHIP PASTOR

Jenny is the Worship Pastor at The Edge. She has been leading worship for 10+ years. Her passion for worship has been forged in the fires of tribulation, heartache and sorrow. For Jenny and her team: worship is more than a song, it is an opportunity to lead people into His presence where all hope and healing are found. Her desire is for there to be no separation between the team and the congregation, where we all seek the Father with one voice, and one song, in unity. Jenny brings a blend of purity and power to the atmosphere, which is the evidence of her time spent in the secret place with the Lord.

Jenny has served at retreats, lead worship for ministry conferences, weddings, multiple Churches, homeless/outreach ministry and is also a gifted speaker.

She received a Diploma of Biblical Theology from KINEO MTC.

Jenny and her husband Kristopher have two young sons: Isaiah and Isaac.

Tannis and his wife Chelsey have 4 beautiful children. Tannis has a passion for youth, and to see a generation abandoning the world's standards and unapologetically chasing God, spreading revival in their schools, homes, and personal spheres of influence. This passion drives him to not only step into his calling to pastor, but to lead by example, and dedicate his life to this mission. He knows it's not enough to simply tell a teenager about Jesus, but to SHOW them, TEACH them, SHEPHERD them, ENCOURAGE them, and help lead them to a personal relationship with Jesus. He is gifted in all of these areas, LOVES to bring out the potential in other people, and is unwilling to give up on anyone. He will lead, challenge, encourage, teach, and disciple the next generation to know God, chase God, and walk in their calling, and have fun doing it!

Tannis has been serving in youth ministry for over 13 years, as well as serving in other ministries such as: worship team, altar ministry, outreach team, mission trips to China helping the underground church, and Honduras helping build feeding centers and ministering to the kids and the community there. Tannis has led small groups, outreach teams, "treasure hunts", and preached to both youth and adults. Along with this experience, Tannis also has 3 different Diplomas from KINEO MTC, and is currently working towards his B.A. of Biblical Studies.

Tannis is not only passionate about family and Jesus, but also about fitness, adventures, improv comedy, community, unity, and helping others. He has his own brand, The Viking Co., and is always finding new and creative ways to get others up and moving!
